    This can be used for devices with Docomo variant, it can't be used for Global / AU / SoftBank variant at all.
    Xperia XZ2 = Akari_Docomo
    Xperia XZ2 Premium = Aurora_Docomo
    Xperia XZ2 Compact = Apollo_Docomo
    Xperia XZ3 = Akatsuki_Docomo

    Warning

    XZ3 DoCoMo users MIGHT have boot issues after flashed P118 bootloader to unlock the bootloader !
    Expand "details" for fixes if you are using XZ3 DoCoMo and "facing boot issues".

    Xperia XZ3 DoCoMo variant has "anti-rollback" protection, it will lock the ability to boot to ROM, end up with looping in Sony logo and never boot to ROM after you flashed P118 bootloader.

    In this case, Download this Q208_Akatsuki_Docomo.zip and extract, then enter "Flash mode" and flash with "newflasher", same as P118_Akatsuki_Docomo.

    newflasher_LICENSE contains the MIT license of newflasher, in order to comply with MIT license

    Usages :

    • after downloaded, unzip it
    unzip P118_{codename}.zip
    • put the device to flash mode by holding volume down button while the device is powered off and connect usb to PC, then run newflasher
    ./newflasher.x64

    (if you have linux aarch64 then you should run ./newflasher.aarch64 instead)

    • f -> n
    • newflasher will flash the P118 bootloader to device, and then reboot.
    • after that, continue with xperable exploit, it should be fine.

    Warning

    XZ3 AU users MIGHT have boot issues & unable to enter flash mode after flashed P118 bootloader !

    Expand "details" for fixes if you are using XZ3 AU and "facing boot & flash mode issues".

    ENSURE THAT YOU ACTUALLY HAVE XZ3 AU. DO NOT DO ANY BELOW STEPS IF YOU ARE USING ANOTHER DEVICE OR OTHER VARIANT!!!!

    In this case, boot to fastboot, use xperable for unlocking bootloader, after bootloader is unlocked, boot to TWRP & OrangeFox and flash this file : XZ3AU_Q208_BL.zip

    After flashed, reboot the device, and see if boot issues is fixed or not. If not, enter flash mode and reflash latest stock firmware from XperiFirm and newflasher.
