net: wireless: nl80211: fix out-of-bounds access in nl80211_del_key()
commit 3dc289f8f139997f4e9d3cfccf8738f20d23e47b upstream. In nl80211_parse_key(), key.idx is first initialized as -1. If this value of key.idx remains unmodified and gets returned, and nl80211_key_allowed() also returns 0, then rdev_del_key() gets called with key.idx = -1. This causes an out-of-bounds array access. Handle this issue by checking if the value of key.idx after nl80211_parse_key() is called and return -EINVAL if key.idx < 0. cfg80211: check vendor command doit pointer before use
[ Upstream commit 4052d3d2e8f47a15053320bbcbe365d15610437d ] In the case where a vendor command does not implement doit, and has no flags set, doit would not be validated and a NULL pointer dereference would occur, for example when invoking the vendor command via iw. I encountered this while developing new vendor commands. Perhaps in practice it is advisable to always implement doit along with dumpit, but it seems reasonable to me to always check doit anyway, not just when NEED_WDEV. ANDROID: GKI: cfg80211: Include length of kek in rekey data
With support for new AKM suites (example FILS-SHA256), the KEK length can now be more than NL80211_KEK_LEN and the KCK length can be zero. Add changes in cfg80211 to specify the length of KEK, and make KCK optional. Make NL80211_REKEY_DATA_KEK as NLA_BINARY to enforce a maximum length check. Also add macro CFG80211_REKEY_DATA_KEK_LEN to indicate support for including KEK length in rekey data. BACKPORT: cfg80211: Support key configuration for Beacon protection (BIGTK)
IEEE P802.11-REVmd/D3.0 adds support for protecting Beacon frames using a new set of keys (BIGTK; key index 6..7) similarly to the way group-addressed Robust Management frames are protected (IGTK; key index 4..5). Extend cfg80211 and nl80211 to allow the new BIGTK to be configured. Add an extended feature flag to indicate driver support for the new key index values to avoid array overflows in driver implementations and also to indicate to user space when this functionality is available. BACKPORT: cfg80211: Enhance the AKM advertizement to support per interface.
Commit ab4dfa20534e ("cfg80211: Allow drivers to advertise supported AKM
suites") introduces the support to advertize supported AKMs to userspace.
This needs an enhancement to advertize the AKM support per interface type,
specifically for the cfg80211-based drivers that implement SME and use
different mechanisms to support the AKM's for each interface type (e.g.,
the support for SAE, OWE AKM's take different paths for such drivers on
STA/AP mode).
This commit aims the same and enhances the earlier mechanism of advertizing
the AKMs per wiphy. Add new nl80211 attributes and data structure to
provide supported AKMs per interface type to userspace.
the AKMs advertized in akm_suites are default capabilities if not
advertized for a specific interface type in iftype_akm_suites.

UPSTREAM: cfg80211/nl80211: Offload OWE processing to user space in AP mode
This interface allows the host driver to offload OWE processing to user space. This intends to support OWE (Opportunistic Wireless Encryption) AKM by the drivers that implement SME but rely on the user space for the cryptographic/OWE processing in AP mode. Such drivers are not capable of processing/deriving the DH IE. A new NL80211 command - NL80211_CMD_UPDATE_OWE_INFO is introduced to send the request/event between the host driver and user space. Driver shall provide the OWE info (MAC address and DH IE) of the peer to user space for cryptographic processing of the DH IE through the event. Accordingly, the user space shall update the OWE info/DH IE to the driver. Following is the sequence in AP mode for OWE authentication. Driver passes the OWE info obtained from the peer in the Association Request to the user space through the event cfg80211_update_owe_info_event. User space shall process the OWE info received and generate new OWE info. This OWE info is passed to the driver through NL80211_CMD_UPDATE_OWE_INFO request. Driver eventually uses this OWE info to send the Association Response to the peer. This OWE info in the command interface carries the IEs that include PMKID of the peer if the PMKSA is still valid or an updated DH IE for generating a new PMKSA with the peer. BACKPORT: nl80211: Add per peer statistics to compute FCS error rate
Add support for drivers to report the total number of MPDUs received and the number of MPDUs received with an FCS error from a specific peer. These counters will be incremented only when the TA of the frame matches the MAC address of the peer irrespective of FCS error. It should be noted that the TA field in the frame might be corrupted when there is an FCS error and TA matching logic would fail in such cases. Hence, FCS error counter might not be fully accurate, but it can provide help in detecting bad RX links in significant number of cases. This FCS error counter without full accuracy can be used, e.g., to trigger a kick-out of a connected client with a bad link in AP mode to force such a client to roam to another AP. nl80211: fix NL80211_ATTR_CHANNEL_WIDTH attribute type
commit 0016d3201753b59f3ae84b868fe66c86ad256f19 upstream.
The new opmode notification used this attribute with a u8, when
it's documented as a u32 and indeed used in userspace as such,
it just happens to work on little-endian systems since userspace
isn't doing any strict size validation, and the u8 goes into the
lower byte. Fix this.

BACKPORT: nl80211: Add support for EDMG channels
802.11ay specification defines Enhanced Directional Multi-Gigabit (EDMG) STA and AP which allow channel bonding of 2 channels and more. Introduce new NL attributes that are needed for enabling and configuring EDMG support. Two new attributes are used by kernel to publish driver's EDMG capabilities to the userspace: NL80211_BAND_ATTR_EDMG_CHANNELS - bitmap field that indicates the 2.16 GHz channel(s) that are supported by the driver. When this attribute is not set it means driver does not support EDMG. NL80211_BAND_ATTR_EDMG_BW_CONFIG - represent the channel bandwidth configurations supported by the driver. Additional two new attributes are used by the userspace for connect command and for AP configuration: NL80211_ATTR_WIPHY_EDMG_CHANNELS NL80211_ATTR_WIPHY_EDMG_BW_CONFIG New rate info flag - RATE_INFO_FLAGS_EDMG, can be reported from driver and used for bitrate calculation that will take into account EDMG according to the 802.11ay specification. arch/x86/include/asm/string_64.h:14:14: note: in a call to function 'memcpy' declared here
The problem is that ioctl_standard_call() sometimes calls the handler
with a NULL argument that would cause a problem for iw_handler_get_iwstats.
However, iw_handler_get_iwstats never actually gets called that way.
Marking that function as noinline avoids the warning and leads
to slightly smaller object code as well.

cfg80211: Fix radar event during another phy CAC
[ Upstream commit 26ec17a1dc5ecdd8d91aba63ead6f8b5ad5dea0d ] In case a radar event of CAC_FINISHED or RADAR_DETECTED happens during another phy is during CAC we might need to cancel that CAC. If we got a radar in a channel that another phy is now doing CAC on then the CAC should be canceled there. If, for example, 2 phys doing CAC on the same channels, or on comptable channels, once on of them will finish his CAC the other might need to cancel his CAC, since it is no longer relevant. To fix that the commit adds an callback and implement it in mac80211 to end CAC. cfg80211: Prevent regulatory restore during STA disconnect in concurrent interfaces
[ Upstream commit 113f3aaa81bd56aba02659786ed65cbd9cb9a6fc ] Currently when an AP and STA interfaces are active in the same or different radios, regulatory settings are restored whenever the STA disconnects. This restores all channel information including dfs states in all radios. For example, if an AP interface is active in one radio and STA in another, when radar is detected on the AP interface, the dfs state of the channel will be changed to UNAVAILABLE. But when the STA interface disconnects, this issues a regulatory disconnect hint which restores all regulatory settings in all the radios attached and thereby losing the stored dfs state on the other radio where the channel was marked as unavailable earlier. Hence prevent such regulatory restore whenever another active beaconing interface is present in the same or other radios. cfg80211: Avoid regulatory restore when COUNTRY_IE_IGNORE is set
[ Upstream commit 7417844b63d4b0dc8ab23f88259bf95de7d09b57 ] When REGULATORY_COUNTRY_IE_IGNORE is set, __reg_process_hint_country_ie() ignores the country code change request from __cfg80211_connect_result() via regulatory_hint_country_ie(). After Disconnect, similar to above, country code should not be reset to world when country IE ignore is set. But this is violated and restore of regulatory settings is invoked by cfg80211_disconnect_work via regulatory_hint_disconnect(). To address this, avoid regulatory restore from regulatory_hint_disconnect() when COUNTRY_IE_IGNORE is set. Note: Currently, restore_regulatory_settings() takes care of clearing beacon hints. But in the proposed change, regulatory restore is avoided. Therefore, explicitly clear beacon hints when DISABLE_BEACON_HINTS is not set.
