## Main causes
- Your current root implementation is Magisk or KernelSU with following packageName, which will trigger VTAP detection
```
com.topjohnwu.magisk
io.github.huskydg.magisk
me.weishu.kernelsu
```
- The ROM you are using is rooted by default with root shell enabled, or SELinux Permissive (v6.4.80+)
- You are using older LSPosed (71xx)
- You have old HideMyAppList installed
- You are using bulit-in Zygisk with Magisk (v6.4.80+)
- You are using randomized Magisk app
## Still doesn't work or the app open with 40202 error ?
- Update [LSPosed (Vector)](https://github.com/JingMatrix/Vector/releases) to newer version (7199+) then reboot and try again
- Install the original app and see the crash reason, it could be Root/Jailbreak, or Runtime Tampering, if it's Root/Jailbreak, follow above steps, if it's Runtime Tampering, update newer LSPosed.
- Any above steps does nothing? Your ROM may have issues. Try to change another ROMs.
## My ROM has [Hide applist] feature !!
- Use that feature and enable Magisk / KernelSU on it, then try to install MBZDefend-Fix module again.
- Note : Don't forget to restore to original Magisk app if you using Magisk before doing so.
## ROMs with bad props
- If you tried all the above methods, but still doesn't work, then it's likely is the ROM has bad props.
- Try to install [PlayIntegrityFork module](https://github.com/osm0sis/PlayIntegrityFork), this module will fix some dangerous props that triggering VTAP. **Don't care the Play Integrity verdict, it has nothing to do with MBCP.**
- Try to install MBZDefend-Fix module again, it should works.
## Specific ROMs cases
- Some ROMs (eg : GSIs, Engineering AOSP) has it's bulit-in SU binary on `/system/xbin/su`, which triggering VTAP.
- For TrebleDroid / PHH Treble based ROMs, go to [Settings -> Phh Treble settings -> Misc settings -> Securize -> OK]
- For Enginnering / Prototype ROMs, removing `/system/xbin/su` is not helpful.
- Try to install MBZDefend-Fix module again, it should works.
