YouTube client for Android isn't open source, YouTube Vanced are is closed source before, but YouTube ReVanced patches is open source, my YouTube Vanced build version newer than 17.41.xx are based on ReVanced patches so you can build using ReVanced patches!

Because all my YouTube Vanced apk files are signed with debug keys, so some security vendor will flag it as malicious. Don't worry about this, its only a normal problem!

Installation for MIUI

[Some Xiaomi device that running MIUI may not be able to install due to security check by Xiaomi and MIUI Optimization, you can workaround that by install Package Installer (Google) from APKMirror (Select version depend on your Android version) and turn off MIUI Optimization on Developer options then install YouTube Vanced client with Package Installer (Google) instead of default Xiaomi APK installer.]

If these solution isn't fix your problem, please create issues here.

No internet connection:

• Remove your account from Vanced MicroG (If have and try again)
• Enable auto start for Vanced MicroG if you use heavy customized Android version such as MIUI,OneUI,FlymeOS,HarmonyOS,etc
• Find a way to install other ROMs on your device if possible.

App not installed :

• Free up some free storage space and try again
• Uninstall official YouTube Vanced client downloaded from Vanced Manager then reinstall. Reason : Mismatch signature.
• Make sure you have downloaded Universal version of YouTube Vanced/YouTube Music Vanced.

Crash when opening:

• Install or reinstall Vanced MicroG
• Turn off battery optimization for Vanced MicroG
• Allow Vanced MicroG run on background or auto start (on heavy customized OS : MIUI,OneUI,FlymeOS,HarmonyOS,etc)
• Wipe app data and cache
• Reinstall YouTube Vanced client
